A Little About Us
We founded GC Custom Fabrication in 2025 after realising how hard it was to find trays and welded gear that felt genuinely built, not pressed out. Our shop in Molendinar became the place where we could slow things down, pick up the steel ourselves and shape gear the way we always thought it should be shaped.
We’re a family-run team, so the person you talk to about your idea is usually the same person sorting out the welds, checking the fit or tweaking the design on the bench. We work with steel and aluminium every day, building ute trays, truck trays, canopies, trailers and repairs for tradies, 4x4 drivers and small businesses right across the Gold Coast and Queensland.
What we make isn’t rushed. It’s measured, hands-on and built with the kind of pride that comes from knowing the gear you send out will be copping dust, rain and long workdays for years. If it leaves our workshop, it’s because we’d put it on our own ute.
